Alarm anyone?

This weekend I went on my first ride along with the Millcreek 106 Fire Station! It was awesome!! I was terrified the entire time and there was no reason whatsoever! The firemen were amazingly kind, and treated me as one of their own! I couldn't believe how exciting it was, and most of the time we were just hanging out in the station! I felt like a 12 year old kid and I think I was glowing the entire time! I even felt awful hoping for an accident! We did end up getting a couple of calls and one was a terrible car accident and the poor old lady got face all smashed! It was terrifying and scary and I rode in the ambulance, and it was crazy! I just can't thank Jay enough for such a "fun" day!!

So many gadgets and gizmos!
My seat on the fire truck! I even had my own jacket! All official!
Station 106
They even have a POLE!!

I can't believe how exciting it was! Can't wait to go to the Kearns station! Thanks Jay!

The Switch

Well I did it folks....I went to the Mac side! I traded in my old dinosaur PC; with no battery life, shut off every time you closed it, took FOREVER and a day to load a page, had to defragment it almost every month (defrag for those who don't know...wipe out and start over), and lug it to classes with a big long cord! It was time for a change to get me through school and to have a fresh start! I am LOVING it so much!! It does everything plus some that I even like the overwhelming feeling!! Its so pretty!

New Years Resolution

Yes yes yes, it has finally happened, my own blog! I'm hoping that this way, those who care, can follow what I'm doing with my life now! It's been an interesting 2009 and I'm SO glad that it's over!! I can start to move on and begin a new year with a new attitude! Thanks to everyone for your support!!

School starts on Monday so I will be busy once again! Leave my house at 6:30 and won't be home til about 8 every single day! Then on Thursdays an institute class at 8 up at the U. It will be my first experience on the University of Utah campus and even though its just one small class i'm pretty excited. That's where I will be going once I finish up my license at SLCC in a year. I never thought my life would turn out this way, but I'm very grateful for every experience I have had these last 5 years. It has made me who I am today and I don't think I would change that. I have grown and am finding myself more successful in everything that I strive to accomplish. Come what may, and have faith!
